Shant Assarian has been appointed to the position of Controller of Mathnasium. Shant will help Mathnasium to achieve new levels of excellence in finance and accounting. He’ll make sure we have the best measurements of performance so we can keep getting better. He’s qualified to provide valuable input into learning center accounting practices and financial models.
Shant is a CPA. He graduated magna cum laude from USC with a degree in Accounting. He served as Senior Associate at Vigen Onany & Associates. He comes to Mathnasium from Grant Thornton, one of the big six global accounting firms. At Grant Thornton, Shant served as Manager, Audit Services, overseeing a staff of 10 to 20, serving large clients such as K-Swiss and Western University.
