Thankful to see the addition of being able to select which student/guardian the autofill will use when sending a template email. That being said, I’ve noticed that even though the autofill placeholders are [GuardianFirstName] and [StudentFirstName], they are both populated with first and last names. Hopefully this bug can be remedied in short order.

Yes, please fix this in the templates. The update is great but now we have to delete last names through the email.

Hi Dan and Graham, we are glad to hear that the improvements to the “Send Email” feature are being received well. Unfortunately, the release of the enhancements introduced a system bug wherein the email template tags are populating the full names of Guardians and Students, rather than just the first name of the Guardian or Student as listed in the Email Template module. We are working to correct this, so please edit the body of your emails to adjust them to your preference before sending them.
