We are excited to release Progress Checks and many other improvements to Radius! Please review the following release notes that highlight the features and fixes that are new to the system. If you haven’t already, watch the Progress Checks tutorial video available here [1] or in Radius.
Features:
- Progress Checks are now available (for the US).
- An instructional video explaining how to use Progress Checks is also available as a link on the Learning Plans section of students within accounts.
- All Learning Plan items with a Completed Date, prior to the release of the Mastery checkbox in December, have been marked as ‘Mastered’.
- The Leads Management grid is now sorted by Created Date descending by default.
- Teachers Details page now has Resources and Activities sub-grids.
- Account Names have now been split into separate Account First Name and Account Last Name fields. This is displayed on the Account Management grid and Edit screens.
- A Referral Report is now available. The Referral Report lists the Leads and Accounts that have been referred by another center Account.
- An Assessment Report is now available. The Assessment Report lists all administered Assessments during the selected time frame.
- A Leads Tracking Report is now available. The Leads Tracking Report lists the Leads generated by advertising source, and sub-source, over time.
- Each report module now comes with a description of the report at the top of the page.
- When you go to the Add Student page, the field School Year now defaults to the current school year. The drop-down menu now contains this school year, the previous two school years, and the next school year.
- There are now Email Settings in the User Profile (click on the user’s name in the upper right). They allow the user to specify what name the email says it is sent from, and a default address for the Bcc field when using Send Email feature.
- When editing an Email Template, new placeholders have been provided so that a user can refer to a guardian or student’s first name, last name, or full name. There is also a placeholder for salutation plus guardian last name.
- The Send Email feature now allows the user to select the Guardian(s) and the Student(s) that you would like your email template placeholders to refer to.
- An alert banner will now be utilized any time there is information about the state of Radius that needs to be communicated.
Fixes:
- Fixed issue where grouped charts involving certain assessments were not rendering.
- Fixed a glitch that would intermittently cause a user not to be able to edit the body of an email in the Send Email feature.
- Fixed issue in student Report where if date range fields weren’t populated, Skills Assigned and Skills Mastered would return zero.
- Fixed issue for Teachers module where export to Excel would be missing information for School.
- Lengthened the space to seven letters allowed for the final portion of an email address in all fields where email can be entered, such that an address like “rain@bow.rainbow” would be accepted.
- Fixed issue where removing a center from an employee brought up the prompt to re-assign subordinates, but they were coming from the wrong center.
- When viewing payments from Account Details, the latest payments are now being displayed first, as opposed to the oldest ones being on top.
- Charts and LP Reports saved as attachment resources now have unique names that include the student name, the chart/report name, and the date taken for assessment charts, or the date generated for the LP Report.
- Fixed issue where pressing Enter while viewing the LP Manager page caused the page to reload.
Please make sure to log out of Radius and log back in to see all changes from this release. If you have any questions, please contact the Mathnasium Support Team (support@mathnasium.com [2]).

Progress check – It does not seem to work with AR or Alg1 !!! It worked on a L4 – I tried just now.
I was expecting Progress Check to reflect the progress automatic on monthly batch progress report based on auto correct 100% of the Mastery check PK
completed that relates to the assessment question numbers. This would show as automatic Projected Post Assessment score without going thru even a partial post and the lengthy steps as demonstrated in the video.
This way each month parent can see progress made automatically without going thru a Partial Post.
I can do the same manually now following the steps as mentioned in the video and just check 100% for the questions that has a MC page date completed. I tried on a L4 LP just now. But it is not worth time-wise to do this manually for each student to justify parents money well spent by them. It needs to be automated.
