Convention Registration:
Convention Registration is NOW OPEN! Please CLICK HERE [2] to view our Convention Registration Tutorial video that provides step-by-step instructions on how to register yourself, your staff, and guests for Convention. You may be prompted to login to MU before you can view this video.
Hotel:
Now that you are registered, it is time to reserve a room at the Omni Shoreham Hotel! You should have received a hotel reservation link in your Convention registration confirmation email. Please use the hotel link in the confirmation email to reserve a room and do not reserve through the hotel’s direct site.
Tentative Schedule:
For all you Early Birds, here is a tentative schedule for Convention to help you book your flights:
- Sunday (July 22): Registration for US Franchisees will begin earlier in the day on Sunday, tentatively around 12:00pm ET. For US franchisees, the first official event will be the cocktail party on Sunday evening, no earlier than 7:00pm ET. International franchisees are tentatively scheduled to have a welcome session at 1:00pm ET but should contact their FBCs for more details.
- Monday (July 23) & Tuesday (July 24): Both Monday and Tuesday are full days, beginning at 8:00am ET each day with breakfast provided beforehand. On Monday night, there will be a dinner event for all attendees, and on Tuesday, Convention should end by 5:00pm ET.

In past conventions we were encouraged to stay the night on Tuesdays so that we do not miss anything. But booking the hotel room I see that we do not have the option to stay Tuesday night at the convention rate. Am I reading that correctly?

In my humble opinion, if you need a video to explain how to register for an event, then you’ve made it much more difficult than necessary. Think of all the events you’ve registered for, has even one require a video to explain how to register? When I went through the process, finding Event Calendar, figuring out what “transcript” they are talking about, “request”ing when I’m really registering… I get the impression that whoever Cornerstone is is trying to fit a simple things into a Cornerstone mold.
I know this opinion does not sound very humble… I really started out humble, then just got a bit cranky, sorry. –myrtha

I am curious if anyone is even reading this. Do we have the option to stay Tuesday night at the convention rate??? I am not sure we will be able to stay all day Tuesday if that is the case since we will be at the mercy of airline schedules. I hope to hear a response soon.

Hi Lynette, you ask a great question! Sorry for the delay. We were confirming with our Hotel Coordinator the exact rates for you. The Convention rates are available three days prior to Convention (Thursday/Friday/Saturday) and three days after the Convention (Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday). Hi Myrtha, I apologize that you are having these frustrations, and we would be more than happy to help improve your registration experience! This year’s Convention registration process via MU is the same as last year’s. Based on feedback from franchisees last year, we created this supplemental video for reference and convenience. We also created the FAQ Guide for folks who may not need a visual representation and would rather have written out steps. I hope that this clarifies!
