US Education Release: High School Geometry and Summer Programs Now Available

The Education Department is pleased to announce that the new High School Geometry assessment/curriculum and the summer programs outlined in our Matters’ post from April 18 [1] are now available in Radius for US centers.

Please see the Geometry Program Administration Directions [2] and Summer Program Administration Document [3]. Be advised that the summer program document replaces FO 970, and any relevant information from FO 970 has been incorporated into this new document. Both these documents go into detail on what is now available to you and guidelines for implementation.

As these new materials were only released for US centers, we did want to provide a release timeline for other regions:

If you have any questions at all, please contact support@mathnasium.com [4].

I love the idea of shortened assessments for creating focused, attainable summer learning plans! Being able to show student progress could really help our conversion rates from summer programs to longer-term programs.

School here start in September. Our summer program goes through the end of September and every year we make a few exceptions that extend the summer program through the end of October. Knowing that we will be cut off from giving post-assessments on September 15 would make these assessments unusable for us. Please consider removing the deadline so that we can use these resources to meet our student’s needs.
