Mathnasium’s first location in Australia opened its doors on Jan. 21! Himanshu Gupta and Ratika Khandelwal, master franchisors for New South Wales and Australian Capital Territory, opened Mathnasium of Hornsby, in Sydney, just six months from signing their master franchise agreement. Now, parents and students in Hornsby get the same look, feel and exceptional Mathnasium experience as those in North America. Himanshu and Ratika have found that parents in the area have the same goals and concerns for their children as U.S. parents, and they are already hearing success stories from their enrolled families.
Himanshu and Ratika plan to sub-franchise an estimated 25 centers over the next few years. Himanshu manages the back-office operations while Ratika handles the parent and student relationships. Their strengths complement each other perfectly and have led to a successful start to their center.
